Food raised the way nature intended using

regenerative agriculture.

Food today is often over-complicated, over-medicated, over-fertilized, over-processed, and unfortunately unnatural.

On our farm and ranch, we prioritize working with nature rather than against her. This means our products are simple, unadulterated, unmedicated, unsprayed, and non-gmo, which is important because we believe:

OUR FOOD SHOULD BE BASIC

So what does

regenerative

farming/ranching mean?

01

Understanding your context - Regenerative isn’t a one-size-fits-all model. Our farm in SW Oklahoma is managed according to our particular soil and climate to encourage holistic health. What makes us different? Our cattle are rotated multiple times per day to fresh pasture to grow the healthiest animals on the healthiest soil.

02

Maximizing soil cover (more herbaceous material!) This keeps our soil temperatures down in the summer and up in the winter, and it broadens the amount of time in the year when soil microbes can do their beautiful thing.

03

Minimizing unnatural soil disturbance - We use no chemical or mechanical tillage. This creates better water cycles and helps eliminate erosion and runoff. Easy enough.

04

Maximizing biodiversity - The more species that are present, the more resilient the ecosystem, and the more diverse nutrients are released into the soil when plants are grazed. Diversity = health.

05

Keeping a living root - Living roots reduce soil erosion and provide food for organisms like earthworms and the microbes that cycle the nutrients our plants need. By always having something growing, we increase soil life and health.

06

Integrating livestock - By putting livestock onto our pasture and rotating them through our native grass and cropland we promote the natural, symbiotic cycle of land and animals nurturing each other, and us.

Using these 6 core principles we create healthier ecosystems! You can feel confident the food you buy from us is making a difference from pasture to plate.
