Food raised the way nature intended

Food has gotten complicated. Ours isn’t.

We raise animals on pasture, without unnecessary inputs, and sell food the way it should be: simple, traceable, honest.

OUR FOOD SHOULD BE BASIC

what does

regenerative

farming/ranching mean?

01

Understanding your context - Regenerative isn’t one-size-fits-all. What works here in Southwest Oklahoma is shaped by our soil, climate, and constraints. On our ranch, that means rotating cattle multiple times per day onto fresh pasture to support both soil and animal health.

02

Maximizing soil cover Keeping the soil covered protects it from heat and erosion and creates a more stable environment for microbial life. More cover means more days each year when the system is actively working.

03

Minimizing unnatural soil disturbance - We use no chemical or mechanical tillage. This creates better water cycles and helps eliminate erosion and runoff. Easy enough.

04

Maximizing biodiversity - More plant species means a more resilient system. Different plants contribute different nutrients and functions, which strengthens both the soil and the animals grazing it.

05

Keeping a living root - Living roots feed the biology underground. By keeping something growing as much of the year as possible, we support the organisms that cycle nutrients and build soil structure.

06

Integrating livestock - Livestock are part of the system, not separate from it. When managed well, their movement stimulates plant growth, cycles nutrients, and connects soil, plants, and animals into a functioning whole.Using these 6 core principles we create healthier ecosystems! You can feel confident the food you buy from us is making a difference from pasture to plate.
